TOEFL Vocabulary
a.k.a. "Part 2", "Section 2" or "the grammar section"; missing words & find the mistake.
Usually in English, a sentence has a subject first and verb after. "The cat is hungry."
But sometimes the verb comes before the subject. "Only at night is the cat hungry." These subject-verb inversions are frequently tested on the TOEFL.

- EDIT 2011-05-11: I've noticed two problems for this link: #1 the URL for these reading passages has changed (which is easy to fix) and #2... the questions and exercises are missing! You can still read the passages but there are no questions now. :( English Works! - Reading Exercises - online reading comprehension exercises; first passages with questions (like TOEFL/TOEIC), then passages with missing words. For the 1st section, click on a person's name (e.g. "Thomas Edison") to read the passage; click on "Reading and Questions" to have the passage with the reading comprehension questions next to it; click on "Vocabulary" for questions about the meaning of specific words from the passage.
